Hey Everyone!
Today I start my new life in Graphic Design! Finally leaving the corporate world. Here are my stories!
This has been a long time coming. I've been working on my art skills (self taught!) for a long time, and finally got job a Graphic Design job. I've been waiting to do this for 10 years! I'm 34 now. I started out this journey when I was 24. It's been a long time coming.
I'll be leaving my product management job at Amazon for this. This was my first job out of college, applied there to work in the industry. People don't often think "Graphic Design" when they think Amazon, but they are one of the biggest tech-companies out there, and so, much design work is needed!
I've learned from some of the best here, and now it's time to go.
Some say I shouldn't, but I say, follow your passions! I would say it was prime time to leave! Time to package up my things and go! Today I'll stream my way out the door!
Shout out to all my Amazon co-workers, especially my boss Matt. Gonna miss ya! I loved what I was doing, but it's time to move on. So long!
